Foyer Groups

"If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples." -John 8:31

Small groups of members and friends of the cathedral congregation regularly meet in Foyer Groups. Each of these "porches of welcome" groups has 10 to 15 adults who usually meet monthly, but can meet at other times as well, as a group decides. A group could meet for a meal, either provided by the host or by potluck, or for an event, lasting for about two hours. Some groups build their get-togethers around discussion topics; others are purely social.

In recent years,  members have enjoyed meals at one another's home or at restaurants. They have had picnics. They have gone bowling.

Foyer Groups were developed by the Community of the Cross of Nails, an international organization established by England's Coventry Cathedral to promote reconciliation among all peoples.

Any adult is welcome to join a Foyer Group. Being able to host a group in one's home is not a requirement.

Members find their time together enlightening and enriching, as well as a way to establish new friendships and deepen existing ones.
