Our youth programs help young people meet the challenges of their lives in a manner that promotes health and wholeness, self-respect and respect of others.
Our youth group meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday mornings. During this time, youth hang out with youth minister J.J. Engelbert and cathedral clergy for fun, friendship and spiritual growth. Of course, lunch is served!
And for those youth who are earlier risers on Sundays, there is the cathedral's new Breakfast Club, where junior and senior high youth (grades 7-12) can share discussion and donuts. This new activity starts at 9:00 a.m.
We are offering Confirmation classes on Sundays at 9:00 a.m., beginning February 24, for those interested in being confirmed in the Episcopal Church. The classes run through May 4. (No class on Sunday, April 20.) Confirmation will take place at the cathedral on Pentecost, Sunday, May 11, at 3:00 p.m.
