This summary on the Living Our Faith strategy, from the cathedral's One Page Strategic Plan, was written to give a better understanding of the process that led to its development. --Editor

Strategic Planning Objective: We will strengthen our identity by exploring and enriching our spiritual growth, broadening our understanding of what it means to be a part of this Cathedral community, and focusing our resources to serve the common good more effectively.

Living our Faith Strategy: We will work together to empower Parishioners and the broader Cathedral community to practice their faith through targeted outreach initiatives (social ministries) which enhance the common good while reconciling social issues.

Living Our Faith through Social Ministries is the dynamic reflection of the commitment of Christ Church Parishioners to embrace change, remain relevant, and effectively serve the common good as we seek to build a worship community relevant to all aspects of our lives.

• We must work together to create and cultivate a more inviting, meaningful, uplifting, and vibrant Cathedral Church community.
• We must create within Christ Church Cathedral an enhanced capacity to support the work of the various Mission and Outreach ministries to enable them to more effectively meet objectives by empowering the Parishioners who do this work. This work can be more readily accomplished by providing staff or consultant support with foundation and administrative experience to serve as a primary resource to the committees.
• We will engage in collaborative initiatives and share and exchange resources with community partners with a like commitment to serving the common good.
• We need to initiate weekday activities which promote our own spiritual growth, that of our community partners, and 9-5 participants.
• We work together by considering the opinions of others, communicating clearly, listening carefully, and organizing and working collaboratively.
• It is important that we trust in the good intentions of one another as we work to achieve goals and objectives.
