Choir Auditions
2011-12 Church Program Year
We will be holding auditions for cathedral choristers for the 2011-2012 year Wednesday, July 27, through Friday, August 5. (Auditions may also be scheduled by appointment outside this block of time. See below.) Choristers who share the cathedral's commitment to excellence, are willing and able to support its liturgical worship and serve as a significant presence in the Cincinnati arts community are encouraged to audition. The Cathedral Choir's primary responsibility is to sing at weekly Sunday services of Holy Eucharist, monthly services of Evensong and other major liturgical observances in the church year.
Positions are open for both paid and volunteer choristers. Stipends for paid choristers will be consistent with city standards. Persons of minority race are especially encouraged to audition.
The cathedral is also building a roster of substitute choristers to serve as needed.
